South Luangwa is renowned for leopard sightings, and it certainly did not disappoint us. We found two leopards up a tree while self driving – a mom and her youngster. The young leopard decided it needed a little walk after a good meal which was stashed up a tree with its mom. So it walked to a neaby tree and rested a bit in the shade. Every now and then it would look up to keep an eye on its mom – or perhaps was it keeping tabs on the impala meal she was feasting on?
