On our last night at the Porini Lion Camp in the Olare Motorogi in the Masai Mara we witnessed this incredible standoff between a wildebeest and a lioness. We had already witnessed the wildebeest’s narrow escape from the claws of a lioness. We then followed it while it walked away seemingly unharmed. However it collapsed a couple of hundred meters away, in front of another hungry lioness. For the rest of the story you can watch the video.
